By royal directives of His late Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, may his soul rest in peace, the Military Technological College was established. Its fundamental aim is to consolidate technical and vocational education within a unified institution. The College serves as a key source of skilled and trained technical personnel for the Ministry of Defence, the Sultan’s Armed Forces of Oman, and various military and security agencies across the Sultanate of Oman. In this era of the renewed renaissance, under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Supreme Commander, may God protect him, the College continues its journey of development and modernisation. The College receives the highest level of attention and unwavering support in order to further strengthen its educational and research capabilities.
The International Conference on Technology, Business, Engineering, and Society (ICTBES-2026), aims to provide a dynamic and interdisciplinary platform that brings together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and policymakers to exchange innovative ideas, present cutting-edge research, and foster strategic collaboration across diverse fields. The conference is dedicated to advancing knowledge and developing practical solutions in emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, smart systems, business transformation, and societal development, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and alignment with global priorities such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By integrating engineering, data science, business, humanities, and materials science, the conference aspires to promote impactful research, innovation, and national capacity building in line with Oman Vision 2040.
The International Conference on Technology, Business, Engineering, and Society (ICTBES-2026) is a premier international forum jointly organized by Mazoon College and the Military Technological College, designed to explore the convergence of technology and multidisciplinary innovation. The conference features five comprehensive tracks covering computational intelligence and engineering applications, business transformation through artificial intelligence, data science and smart technologies for sustainable development, humanities and social sciences in the digital era, and materials science alongside emerging technologies.
These tracks collectively address critical domains such as AI-driven engineering systems, digital business ecosystems, smart cities and infrastructure, ethical and social implications of technology, sustainable materials and advanced manufacturing. Through keynote addresses, technical sessions, and collaborative engagements, the conference facilitates knowledge exchange and encourages innovative approaches that bridge theory and practice.
ICTBES-2026 aims to strengthen international research collaboration, enhance academic-industry partnerships, and position both Mazoon College and the Military Technological College as leading contributors to research, innovation, and technological advancement at both national and global levels.
The International Conference on Technology, Business, Engineering, and Society (ICTBES-2026) invites the submission of original, high-quality research papers, case studies, and review articles that address contemporary challenges and advancements across its multidisciplinary themes. Researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and practitioners are encouraged to contribute scholarly work aligned with the conference tracks, including intelligent engineering systems and advanced analytical applications, business and artificial intelligence, data science and smart technologies for sustainable development, humanities and social sciences in the digital age, and materials science and emerging technologies.
Submissions should demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, and clear practical or theoretical contributions. All papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality and relevance. Accepted papers will be presented during the conference and considered for publication in the conference proceedings or affiliated indexed journals, subject to meeting the required standards.
ICTBES-2026 provides an excellent opportunity for participants to disseminate research findings, engage with global experts, and contribute to advancing innovation and knowledge across disciplines.
Prospective researchers are invited to submit their papers through the official conference submission portal. All contributions submitted to The International Conference on Technology, Business, Engineering, and Society FIELDS (ICTBES-2026) that are selected for peer review are sent to two or more independent reviewers, selected by the Track chairs. From different types of peer-review, a Double-Blind Review was selected; both the reviewer and the author remain anonymous. Author anonymity prevents any reviewer bias based on the author’s country of origin or previous controversial work. Articles written by prestigious or renowned authors are considered based on the content of their papers, rather than on the author’s reputation.
